For most of my life, I wore independence like a badge of honor. In my corporate career, at home, and motherhood, even in building our homestead I became the one who could handle it. The capable one. The reliable one. The strong one.
But what I’ve started to realize is this: carrying everything on my own wasn’t strength it was protection.
In this episode, I’m sharing what I’m learning about hyper independence, why asking for help can feel so uncomfortable, and how doing it all often needs us exhausted, resemble, and quietly disconnected. 
I am making a conscious effort to allow myself to accept and ask for help.
