The Field Checklist:

Visual Check: Verify the Mechanical Interlock "wobbles" (blocks one if other is pushed).

Resistance Check: Verify the Electrical Interlock (NC contact) opens when the opposite contactor is pushed.

Rotation Check: Bump the motor. Does FWD actually move the load Forward?

Load Check: Ensure the motor stops completely before switching directions (unless designed for plugging).
