Member of parliament get hiked pension 20 thousand ruppes per month and we are getting 1000₹.Shame on Ministry of labour and epfo.That's ok.Employers need not contribute anything extra.Therefore,the reason for their compliancy could not be understood.May be due to usual human lethargy. I ,as a union leader as well as individual read EPS scheme many times but the beneficial side of section 11 (3) never stuck my mind till RC Gupta's case in 2016.In fact,I never liked EPS scheme and there was contempt against government for forcefully enrolling the working class.Contribution to EPS was considered as waste so there was no enthusiasm to contribute more. We liked to contribute more to EPF voluntarily to avail income tax benefits including tax free interest.

When my brain start working,it was too late.I retired in July 2003.No regret on lost opportunity and if I get another opportunity,I may gain by ₹2000-3000 per month..
