The included HHOT Hat "chik" bells move in phase with your normal hi-hat; while your standard hi-hat top cymbal opens upward, the HHOT hat bottom closes upward, giving you an off-beat "chik" sound. 8th notes become 16ths, effectively freeing up your hand -- the possibilities are endless. Invented by drummer Stephen Marnell.
