Located on Ian Oliver Drive in Waikerie, the silos were the fifth completed in South Australia and the 25th in the

Australian Silo Art Trail. Two renowned artists, Jimmy Dvate (Melbourne) and Garry Duncan (Kanmantoo), created the works.

Jimmy Dvate (Melbourne): painted native flora and fauna, including a giant yabby, the endangered Regent Parrot, Murray Hardyhead fish, and Spiny Daisy.

Garry Duncan (Kanmantoo): contributed complementary river-themed imagery, emphasizing ecological balance and community connection.

One of the few silo projects painted on both sides, offering views from the town and the river.

It was funded by the South Australian Government and supported by Nature Foundation SA, highlighting strong local involvement.

The silos have become a major attraction, drawing visitors for their scale, artistry, and clifftop location overlooking the Murray River.
