《來自莫道克的最後一封信》是日本作曲家樽屋雅德創作的管樂曲，取材自鐵達尼號一等航海士莫道克（Murdoch）與鐵達尼號沉沒的故事。

樂曲以低音木管樂器的和聲與單簧管柔和的旋律揭開序幕，營造平靜的氛圍，並描繪剛初航時的壯麗與憧憬。隨後，音樂轉為輕快的北歐風民族舞曲，描寫鐵達尼號航行中的歡樂與優雅。

然而，在樂曲中段，旋律突然轉變為激烈且混亂的節奏，以銅管不協和音與急促鼓聲展現意外發生時的恐慌與絕望，並描寫船員在危機中努力引導乘客撤離的緊張時刻。最終，音樂進入高潮，象徵船尾逐漸下沉、災難無法挽回的悲劇性結局。

在結尾，旋律緩緩回歸平靜。作者透過各種樂器的獨奏，交織出哀悼與沉思，並在恢復主題旋律後，以輝煌而充滿希望的結尾，傳達莫道克等人面對困境時展現出的堅毅精神。

"The Last Letter From Murdoch" is a wind ensemble piece by Japanese composer Masanori Taruya, inspired by Titanic’s First Officer William Murdoch and the ship’s tragic sinking.

The piece opened with gentle a harmony in the low woodwinds and a soft clarinet melody, capturing the grandeur of the Titanic’s voyage. It then shifted to a lively, folk-dance-inspired section, reflecting the joy and elegance of life aboard the ship.

The music then shifted to a tense, chaotic tone, with dramatic brass and urgent percussion capturing the panic as disaster unfolded. The climax powerfully portrayed the Titanic’s final moments as it sank.

The piece ended more calmly, blending feelings of sorrow. A reprise of the main theme brought a sense of hope, honoring Murdoch's courage and sacrifice.
