Subscribe for more DayZ Tips: Player restraining times in DayZ vary on the method used. By using barbed wire, metal wire, duct tape or handcuffs, you can restrain a player in just 3 seconds, with rope taking a lengthy 10 seconds instead.
Likewise the various restraints impact escape timers too, taking 10 seconds to escape rope and duct tape, but 20 seconds to escape barbed wire, metal wire and handcuffs. #dayz
