The International Defense Industry Exhibition has kicked off in Kielce, Poland, and is the largest and most important defense exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe. With more than 750 companies showcasing their latest products and innovations, the event is a hub for the world's leading defense contractors. In a major move, the Polish Armed Forces have already purchased 180 Korean K2 main battle tanks, with negotiations for additional purchases still underway. TVP World spoke with Gen. Eui-Seong Lee (Ret.), Senior Vice President of Hyundai Rotem, the company behind these tanks, to discuss the recent deliveries to Poland and the potential for further contracts.
