FIBRE4YARDS Tdyn-RamSeries FEA 2nd Training Session 29-11-2023

Описание: This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101006860 (FIIBRE4YARDS).
The second training session on Tdyn-RamSeries performed by Daniel Sá López and Joel Jurado Granados (CompassIS) on 29th of November 2023.
Among dissemination and training activities, CompassIS has the compromise of providing a validated version of the analysis computational tools (which will be mostly integrated in the Tdyn FEM environment). Also, the task involves producing validation models, benchmarks, and the corresponding documentation, together with training sessions.
Even though these works have already been performed, we find it useful to complete the training tasks by providing a second –more advanced- training session, in order to show the advanced capabilities of the software. Furthermore, in this second training, advanced usage of FEA applied to FRP marine structures will be addressed and shown by means of an example case.
Given that this type of training is also included among FIBREGY project, and that some of the partners are involved in both projects, it has been considered as optimum to host a joint session for this training.
The contents of this training session are the following:
Quick review of software download, installation, user password validation, and general preferences of the GUI.
Specific FRP laminate materials capacities overview.
FIBREGY/ FIBRE4YARDS specific capacities and tools overview.
Dynamic FEA fundamentals. Fatigue Damage Assessment.
