So, in conclusion…
The EVGA RTX 2080 XC 8GB still holds up pretty well in 2025!
It's great for 1080p and 1440p gaming on High or Ultra settings with DLSS, even after 6 years since launch.

BUT—don't expect perfect performance. This card runs HOT, and that’s mostly because the XC cooling system isn’t as efficient as the XC Ultra variant.

Also, this specific unit uses a reference NVIDIA PCB, which is known to have some issues—like fan control not working, power target being locked, and power monitoring unavailable.

So... do I recommend it?
Well—it depends on the condition.
If you find one that’s well-maintained and fully working, then go for it!
But if it’s like mine… you might wanna think twice.
