this is just hunter's healing arc and being slowly more comfortable in the owl house :))
ALSO you might notice that he drinks a lot of tea in this, and thats bc i headcanon that eda and luz saw him drinking THE STRONGEST energy drinks on the boiling isles and they were like "lol thats not healthy for a 16 yr old" and taught him how to brew his own tea
