The People, Culture and Governance Committee (formerly Human Resources Committee) assists the TTC Board in fulfilling its obligations related to labour relations, including compensation matters, succession planning, organizational culture, including access, equity and inclusion and health and safety.
The Committee also establishes performance objectives for the CEO and completes the annual performance evaluation of the CEO as may be required by the employment contract, assesses and satisfies itself as to the processes and procedures in place to promote ethical conduct amongst employees and TTC Board members and assists the TTC Board with oversight of governance issues, ensuring that the appropriate processes, structures and information necessary for effective Board governance, reporting and oversight are in place.
