We moved camp to the "Serengeti of America"—Lamar Valley—but the trip almost ended in disaster. From a collapsed tent in the snow to crashing my drone 30 feet up a tree, Episode 2 of the Yellowstone Expedition was a wild ride!
In this episode, we leave Madison Campground for the legendary Slough Creek. Along the way, we capture rare footage of a Black Bear crossing the river and shaking off, a coyote on the hunt, and the "aquatic songbird"—the American Dipper. We also deal with freezing 18-degree nights and a high-stakes drone recovery mission involving rocks and paracord.
