Take a quick look at the 1/4" 5052 Aluminum/Black Powdercoated RCI Engine Skidplate for the Toyota 4runner 03-09 (4th Gen), Lexus GX470, and FJ Cruiser. If you are looking to buy one hopefully this will help answer any of the questions you might have before purchasing one!
So far I really like it. It is light and it fit right up to the OEM mounting points with no modifications required. This is the front post section going from front radiator support down to the front subframe, protecting most of the engine and a little bit of transmission.
I bought mine straight from their site and it got to me within a few days.
