According to the speakers, Pakistan has been facing continuous political instability for the past four years. They stated that neither the government has been able to reduce the political influence of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, nor has PTI been able to bring revolutionary change. The only solution, they argued, is meaningful negotiations among all major political stakeholders.

Fawad Chaudhry proposed the formation of a national unity government that would include leadership from PML-N, PPP, PTI, and JUI-F. He further suggested that the opinions of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Imran Khan should be incorporated to build national consensus and reduce political hostility.

The NDC clarified that it is not a political party but a platform created to ease political tensions in the country. Leaders also highlighted concerns about economic challenges, law and order issues, and the reported exit of multinational companies from Pakistan.

Barrister Saif stressed the importance of reconciliation, pointing out the growing security challenges and the need for national unity. He also supported dialogue efforts and emphasized that sustainable political stability can only come through negotiations.

The committee stated that if the government agrees to dialogue, they are willing to engage Imran Khan and attempt to convince him to support a political settlement, potentially paving the way for broader reconciliation.
