Da Souza va començar com el projecte paral·lel de Lluís Cabot i Àngel Garau, de Beach Beach. Amb l'arribada gradual de Xavi Hernández-Mut primer, i de Biel Ballester, el que en un principi era un divertimento, va evolucionar cap a quelcom més assentat, sense perdre la diversió. Acaben d'editar "Flors i Violència" de la mà de Famèlic Records, que ja va publicar el casset "La Pau Mundial". El nou disc inclou set cançons noves més les quatre d'aquell EP primigeni remasteritzades. Material suficient per dotar el projecte d'entitat pròpia i deixar que l'etiqueta de banda paral·lela s'esfumi entre els seus ritmes fugaços i addictius.

Da Souza started as the side project of Lluís Cabot and Angel Garau, from the band Beach Beach. Gradually, new members arrived to the band and the initial duet was completed with Xavi Hernández-Mut and finally with Biel Ballester. What was a divertimento evolved to something real without losing its fun. They have just released "Flors i Violència" with Famèlic records, with whom they also edited their cassette "la Pau Mundial". The new album includes seven new tracks and a remaster of the four ones included in the cassette. Enough new material to give an own entity to the new project and to let the "parallel band" label fly away among their addictive and quick songs.
