Day 3 of the Everest region trek takes us from Namche Bazaar to the peaceful and beautiful Phortse 🏔️
Today’s walk is all about enjoying the trail, walking slowly, and connecting with the mountains. On the way, I get my **first real view of the majestic Ama Dablam—and honestly, it takes my breath away. This mountain has always been my favorite, and seeing it this close feels unreal.
The trail is quiet, scenic, and less crowded, with stunning views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and traditional Sherpa settlements. Instead of rushing, we take our time, enjoy every step, and let the Himalayas speak.
We finally reach Phortse Village, a hidden gem in the Khumbu region, known for its peaceful atmosphere, strong mountaineering culture, and raw mountain beauty.
Some days are not about distance or altitude—
they’re about feelings.
And Day 3 is exactly that ❤️
