How to attach a small kayak anchor to a fitting and how to effectively pull the anchor out if it gets stuck?
Step 1 :Push off the locking ring and unfold the anchor jaws.
Step 2: Pass the rope through the other end of the anchor and tie it off tightly. (Tip:The live knot tied here is a better way to pull the anchor in case it gets stuck)
Step 3: Pass the rope through the other end of the anchor and the live knot and tie it off. You guys can also use tie downs(PS: does not come with tie downs)
Step 4: The rope goes through the float.
Step 5: Tie a rope to the carabiner.
Step 5: And then it's done
Tip: If you tie a live knot in front of you, when your anchor is stuck in a rocky, coral encounter, just pull hard on the rope to rip the anchor out easily!
