BS Yeddyurappa in Vidhan Soudha:
I have never done opportunistic politics. The farmer is still poor and there is still no water in the fields. After so many years of independence, we have not been able to address the problems of the farmer. We must honour the dignity of farmers. I have worked my entire life for the betterment of farmers. My only aim to form the government was to serve the farmers and the Dalits who are suffering.
