this was a bitch to edit, but it was worth it. james gordon was worth it.
i thought hans zimmer's famous tearjerker would be enough to encapsulate jim's stellar character development, but i was wrong. i could have twice as much time to work with and still get it wrong. done my best, though, fierce and true. it's hard to do someone like him justice.
a special thank you to s04e16. it marks the exact moment of my falling in love with him and his efforts to stay good.
and thank you, of course, to ben mckenzie.
