This video is the 3rd of a series, captured during a 2 week Ladakh trip. Our 2nd riding day took us from Kargil to Padum, seeing our first 7000er mountains and crossing Penzi La (4494m).
Originally, we had planned to go from Lamayuru across Singe La and the Zanskar valley to Padum, but that route was blocked due to heavy rainfall.
The trip was organised by Gesar Travel https://www.gesar-travel.com . Due to extreme weather conditions and other mis-haps, we heavily relied on them and their ability to change plans on the fly.
We rode 3 Royal Enfield Himalayans, had a guide riding a KTM 390 and 2 guides in a Mahindra pickup. Roads were good, except... when they weren't. A true adventure.
