Описание: Atimonan's Tagultol Fishing Festival is one of the many festivals celebrated in the country. Tagultol is a popular fishing method used by Atimonanins. The word TAGULTOL was derived from the Tagalog word UGTOL meaning bounce. In the old days, Tagultol fishing material was made up of a rectangular stone tied at the end of a long abaca string dip in honey. Thorns of calamansi and similar plants were tied 2 feet above the stone. Worms, small fish or shrimps were used as bait then dipped in water in a bouncing movement.
