Protesters gathered outside the courthouse where Daniel Penny is being tried in the death of Jordan Kneely on the New York City subway. Kneely, a homeless man with mental health problems, had been acting erratically. Penny is accused of choking Kneely to death and he says he was acting in self-defense. Both prosecution and defense are expected to lay out their arguments today.
