In this vlog I travel from Goa, India to Phuket, Thailand — a surprisingly calm and straightforward journey that felt like a small win for my ADHD nervous system.
The airport experience was smooth and grounding, and the art and spaciousness genuinely helped settle my IBS, which I’ve come to understand is closely linked to my neurodivergent nervous system.
Landing in Phuket was a different story. The island was overflowing with tourists, which quickly became overwhelming and challenging to navigate. However, not everything felt lost — the Sunday night market is run by local people, and that was a complete contrast to the overflowing resort life. The food, the handmade crafts, and the atmosphere at the market was vibrant, warm, and deeply enjoyable.
This video isn’t a postcard version of travel. It’s an honest look at midlife travel with ADHD, sensory overload, unexpected regulation, and finding moments of calm in unfamiliar places.
