Gibraltar : Atravessando a fronteira, caminhando pela pista do aeroporto, uma das mais perigosas do mundo, passeando um pouco pela cidade e subindo no teleférico para a reserva natural, onde habitam os macacos de Gibraltar foi o nosso passeio no dia 10 de Outubro de 2023. Estes primatas são a única população de macacos selvagens no continente europeu. Andam livremente em Gibraltar por entre as pessoas, são amigáveis mas não domesticados, pelo que deverá ter-se algum cuidado, sendo aconselhável não os tocar, pois podem tornar-se agressivos. É expressamente proibido dar-lhes comida, uma vez que a dieta deles baseia-se em fruta, verduras, plantas e insectos. A espécie está em vias de extinção e vivem até aos 25 anos. Para quem não sabe, uma curiosidade sobre o aeroporto de Gibraltar é que a pista atravessa a avenida principal com um túnel para veículos. Pedestres e ciclistas atravessam a avenida Winston Churchill.

Gibraltar : Crossing the border, walking along the airport runway, one of the most dangerous in the world, strolling a little around the city and taking the cable car to the nature reserve, where the Gibraltar monkeys live was our tour on October 10, 2023. These primates are the only population of wild monkeys on the European continent. They walk freely in Gibraltar among people, they are friendly but not domesticated, so some care should be taken, and it is advisable not to touch them, as they can become aggressive. It is strictly forbidden to give them food, as their diet is based on fruit, vegetables, plants and insects. The species is on the verge of extinction and lives up to 25 years.
For those who don't know, an interesting fact about Gibraltar airport is that the runway crosses the main avenue with a tunnel for vehicles. Pedestrians and cyclists cross Winston Churchill Avenue.
