Must-see Geothermal Attractions in Rotorua, NZ! | Te Puia + Blue Springs, Putāruru!

Описание: Rotorua is a geothermal wonderland with so many incredible natural wonders to explore! Both thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike will find something to do in one of NZ's tourist hotspots.

On our way to Rotorua we stopped over at Cucina Cafe in Hamilton for a quick coffee and snack before proceeding to the famous Blue Springs at Putāruru! This crystal-clear stream is an important source of NZ's bottled water and an incredibly beautiful natural wonder. A quick walk from the Leslie Road car park means that this must-visit location is easily accessible to almost everyone!.

Finally, we visited Te Puia to end the day. Part-geothermal park, part-Māori cultural experience, this amazing attraction is such an enlighteing learning experience the moment you step foot inside. The Pohutu geyser however, is the main star of the show. It is NZ's biggest geyser and erupts every hour or so. Seeing it go off was definitely one of the best things I've seen in my life!

Te Puia
There are a bunch of different experiences at Te Puia but we opted in for the normal Te Rā pass which cost $39 per adult. This ticket is also valid for 2 consecutive days if you couldn't get enough on your first day!
