It takes about 50 minutes to go from Doncaster to Peterborough with LNER. But there's also a train provided by East Midlands Railway (EMR), which can do the same journey in nearly 2 hours! Of course, that's because it goes through Lincolnshire following the route of the old Great Northern Railway.
You know I like a quirky route, so I couldn't resist this one!
