Описание: Skradin is situated on river Krka, only 18 km from Šibenik (Central Dalmatia), and today is town with only 500 inhabitants but with its sourrandig it has probably the richest cultural and arheological importance in Dalmatia. Just 15 km from town on one hill, called Bribirska glavica, are situated ruins of city which existed from 1st century and nearby have been found remainings from period od Neolith. When you find in this area you should also not miss to visit one of the natural wonders of Croatia - National park "Krka" with its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 meters, the Krka River is a natural and karstic phenomenon.
