A sunny and warm Friday saw me hike upto Middle Fell to search out a perfect pitch.
For me, I did..
Over looking Wast Water and with the Scafells in the distance, on a clear afternoon was bliss..
The night turned out even better.
The moon was almost full and shone so Bright I cast a moon shadow at 3am whilst taking photos on my phone.
The next day and weather changing I opted for a newly formed campsite on a farm up on Ulpha Fell. A basic campsite with only 2 portaloos and fairly small campsite... But has a brilliant cafe on site open 9am until 4pm low season. £10 a,night and only me there 😃🏕👍
