February 2021 LabCoP Extended ECHO Session: Roche & CDC Partnership

Описание: The February LabCoP Extended session focuses on following the overview of laboratory systems priorities for Country Operational Plan COP21, presented in January. This session presents newly-developed tools that can help laboratory professionals to enhance the quality and effectiveness of HIV-related testing. Courtesy of the efforts of Roche Diagnostics and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Public Private Partnership (PPP), this session introduces a comprehensive training package supporting the introduction of the plasma separation card, which can facilitate sample collection and transport for HIV viral load (VL) and Early Infant Diagnosis (EID). A user-friendly, online assay validation and verification tool intended to facilitate processes around statistical calculation when adopting a new assay in the laboratory is also introduced. These resources will be made available to the laboratory community via the ASLM Academy (https://aslm.org/aslm-academy/), providing a unique opportunity to participating LabCoP countries and ASLM members to enhance their skills and knowledge on the training platform.
