Today we remember the victims of the Dublin and Monaghan Bombings that took place 50 years ago today which left 33 innocent lives lost and nearly 300 injured. Orchestrated by Loyalist terrorists in collusion with the British state.
Every individual affected by these horrific events the victims, survivors, and their loved ones, deserves truth and justice. Yet, for nearly half a century, these families have faced silence and inaction, further compounded by a rushed and inadequate investigation.
The Irish Government have obligation to facilitate access to justice and truth yet have failed here for nearly half a century. Time to park the politics and put people first.
We continue to stand firmly with the victims and survivors, advocating for the truth and justice they have been denied for far too long.
