Special thanks to Sawyer and his partner Cathy who were kind enough to correspond with me about the Heaven’s Gate stuff and provide their perspective. Sawyer is an original HG member (or close enough to it). Class was in session a bit before Cathy’s time, so she was never a part of all of it in person, but came to be a strong believer from looking at their online materials. They may look at the world very, very differently but they took the time to answer questions and explain their beliefs as best they could, even though they knew the final product wasn't going to be pro HG. I really appreciate them for that, and it'd be great if you let them know you do too.
