The countdown is officially on! The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics kicks off on February 6, 2026.
To get you ready, we’re spotlighting Olympian and Canadian Snowboarder, Brooke D’Hondt. She made her Olympic debut at 16 at Beijing 2022, where she was the youngest member of the Canadian team. She advanced to the women’s halfpipe final and finished 10th, then added a bronze medal later that year at the FIS Junior World Championships. In the interview, D’Hondt speaks about managing fear in the halfpipe, the growth of women’s sports and her side hustle sewing handmade bags.
All eyes will be on Brooke as she gets ready to compete in the 2026 Winter Games.
