Описание: Sokuluk is a large village in the Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, it is the largest settlement in the region, even exceeding the city of Shopokov. Its total number in 2009 was 24,417 people. Sokuluk is the administrative center of Sokuluk region and is located about 5 km west of Shopokov, the main economic center of the region. and is located about 20 km west of the city of Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). The Bishkek-Tashkent highway and the Bishkek-Lugovaya railway pass through Sokuluk.
