Описание: A day in the life of commercial Fishermen in Port Dover Ontario. The crews fish for pickerel, walleye, smelt and perch on lake Erie. The boats (Tugs) have been leaving the harbour about 160 years. From 1920 till about 1950's Port Dover had the largest fresh water fishery in the world. Lake Erie supplies about 80% of the freshwater fish coming from the Great Lakes to the dinner table. This video is an educational and visual look at the methods and life of lake Erie fisherman. The music score is created by Bruce (House) Milner local Port Dover artist, musician, playwright and retired fisherman.
