Описание: In this solo Christmas Eve episode of his popular radio series, Nelson sings "Hail Ye Time of Holy Days", "Balthasar's Song", "Child's Evening Prayer" and a medley: "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman," "O Gathering Clouds", "Silent Night" and "Hallelujah" from Handel's "The Messiah". Bugs Bunny appears in a comedic skit "for the children" and Nelson delivers a powerful, emotional speech including his hope that this will be the last Christmas of WWII, and a wish that peace may come soon. His own contribution to the war effort was as an Allied spy in late 1943, embarking on an overseas tour to presumably only entertain the troops, while ending up in Cairo where he was forced to kill a double-agent in self-defense.
