Europe's fracking bans 'unbelievably foolish': Alex Epstein

A number of European countries have banned fracking over environmental concerns, however have become dependent on Russia for energy in the process.

"If you look at the trajectory of European policy over the last 10 years, country after country has banned fracking," Mr Epstein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

"What that does is it decreases supply on the global market and it also decreases energy security of basically the entire EU.

"It's unbelievable how foolish this has been."
