This is one of the famous tourist place in our District, Tirunelveli. This is famously known as "Reddiyarpatti Malai ", "Retta Malai" by local people.
This is best known for Photoshoot. Nice place to have pic but be careful and stay in left side of the road, don't come to centre of road for photo as vehicle will pass in high speed.Its a cut made on a hill for Tirunelveli bypass road.
It has shown in the malayalam pan india road movie Neelaksham, pachakkadal, chuvanna bhoomi, as a highway in west Bengal where the tyres of the bike riders get punctured. Tamil movies like Surya's Singam and saamy shoot here.
