This route is the perfect introduction to our Time Travel Gravel channel as it's super short with loads of fun history and places to stop for tea and cake. It's a 4 mile / 7km out and back route that's almost totally flat and largely traffic free too so awesome for kids or less confident riders. Fin our puttying certainly enjoyed his first trip out on the tandem!
The route is uploaded to the Komoot App on our Pedalling Past account where you can also download a GPX but it's super easy to navigate (just follow the river) if you can't be faffed with that.
