PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) affects millions of women, yet remains widely misunderstood, misdiagnosed and dismissed.
The Faces of PMDD campaign captures the emotional reality of living with PMDD – from joy and relief, to anger, despair and exhaustion. Through honest conversations with the women who live with this condition, the film explores what PMDD really feels like, beyond clinical definitions and surface-level symptoms.
Every woman featured in this film lives with PMDD. During filming, they were asked to reflect on their hardest days as well as their moments of strength, connection and hope. What emerged was an atmosphere of deep empathy, compassion and collective understanding – a reminder that no one should have to navigate this alone.
This film exists to:
– Raise awareness of PMDD
– Validate lived experience
– Help others recognise what they might be living with
– Push the conversation forward in women’s health
