Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) can help you if you need urgent medical assistance for issues like cuts, sprains, possible broken bones, itchy rashes, or a minor burn – and patients will often be cared for and seen much quicker than Accident and Emergency departments.
Did you know that we have five Urgent Treatment Centres in Derbyshire? All offer free car parking and are open 8am to 8pm.
Ripley Community Hospital
Ilkeston Community Hospital
Buxton Hospital
Whitworth Hospital
Derby Urgent Treatment Centre (entrance C)
You can walk-in to these centres, but we advise contacting NHS 111 via phone or via https://111.nhs.uk to secure a time slot.
If you are in a life-threatening emergency, please call 999.
