Mike's DIY Analog Plate Reverb saga continues! Back with part 8 as the plate reverb nears completion. In this episode the remote control for the dampening panel is constructed, tested, and wired up through the building. Its a simple, but effective remote control. The remote has just a couple LED's, a DPDT momentary switch, and a 5-Pin XLR. Most of the electronics are housed in the power supply for the dampening panel's motor.
In the next video, the plate will get tuned, and the entire plate reverb will be moved into its final resting place and installed.
