This concert ( Part 2) presentation is drawn from the treasured archives of the Ravichandhira family.
The performance took place at the prestigious Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai, during the renowned 2012 Music Season, in association with Ravichandhira’s revered mridangam guru, maestro Karaikudi R. Mani.
The concert reflects the depth of the bani tradition — where rhythm, structure, and musical aesthetics are transmitted through the living guru–śiṣhya parampara.
Vocalist Rithvik Raja is a prime disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi T. M. Krishna, while violinist Rajeev Mukundan trained under Sangita Kalanidhi A. Kanyakumari.
Krishna Gana Sabha has long been one of the most respected stages in the Carnatic world, and this recording preserves a moment of that living heritage.
