Описание: The Messerschmitt Me-262 was the world's first operational jet fighter, entering service with the Luftwaffe in 1944 during World War II. It was designed by the Messerschmitt company, with work starting in 1939, but engine development problems delayed its appearance until late in the war. The Me-262 featured a top speed of around 540 mph, making it significantly faster than contemporary propeller-driven fighters, but its early Junkers Jumo 004 engines were temperamental and prone to unreliability.
