Описание: LSU senior Denise Hinton went out with a bang in her final competition as a Lady Tiger as she unleashed a series-best throw of 210-9/64.25m on her 6th and final attempt of the competition to finish in 5th place overall in the women's hammer throw final at the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Hinton made history as the 1st Lady Tiger in program history to earn All-America honors in the event as she passed both Oregon's Jillian Weir (209-7) and Kansas State's Sara Savatovic (209-4) to move from 7th place into 5th place on her final throw.
