Two examples are shown: 1) Detecting items inside Bundle Item Entities and 2) Detecting items inside Bundle Items in the Player Inventory. This is possible by checking the Bundle Contents Component.

This tutorial was done using Minecraft 1.21.4 Java Edition.

COMMANDS:

/setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:air

/execute if entity @e[type=minecraft:item,sort=nearest,limit=1,nbt={Item:{components:{"minecraft:bundle_contents":[{id:"minecraft:golden_apple",count:1}]}}}] run setblock ~ ~1 ~1 minecraft:redstone_lamp[lit=true]

/execute if entity @p[nbt={Inventory:[{components:{"minecraft:bundle_contents":[{id:"minecraft:golden_apple",count:1}]}}]}] run setblock ~ ~1 ~1 minecraft:redstone_lamp[lit=true]
