In diesem Video sehen sie eine Stadler Eurodual (Baureihe 159) der MEG (Mitteldeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH) mit einem Schrottzug, der aus vier Fahrzeugen der Baureihe 112 und vier Fahrzeugen der Baureihe 114/143 besteht. Diese Fahrzeuge werden vom Abstellort (Leipzig Engelsdorf) nach Opladen zum Schrottplatz geliefert. die Deutsche Bahn (DB) benötigt diese Fahrzeuge nicht mehr, deswegen standen sie erst zum verkauf auf dem Abstellplatz. Der Grund für die Verschrottung der Loks ist die zukünftige Ausmusterung der Baureihe 415 (ICE.T), für die benötigt man nämlich noch Abstellplatz. Deswegen werden jetzt öfters Lokomotiven zum Schrottplatz gefahren, ein trauriger Anblick...

In this video, you will see many freight trains, S-Bahn trains, and a Stadler Eurodual (series 159) of MEG (Mitteldeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH) with a scrap train, consisting of four vehicles of series 112 and four vehicles of series 114/143. These vehicles are being transported from their storage location (Leipzig Engelsdorf) to Opladen to the scrapyard. Deutsche Bahn (DB) no longer needs these vehicles, which is why they were initially put up for sale at the storage yard. The reason for scrapping the locomotives is the future decommissioning of series 415 (ICE-T), for which additional storage space is required.
