নারায়ণগঞ্জের হাসেম ফুড ফ্যাক্টরিতে আগুন লাগার ঘটনায় এ পর্যন্ত নিহত হয়েছেন ৫২ জন। এরমধ্যে আজ উদ্ধার করা হয় ৪৯ জনের মরদেহ এবং গতকাল মৃত্যু হয়েছিল তিন জনের। আহতদের মধ্যে তিন জন ভর্তি আছেন ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে (ঢামেক)। এছাড়া, ইউএস বাংলা হাসপাতালসহ অন্যন্য হাসপাতালে ভর্তি আছেন আরও অনেকে। নিহতদের মরদেহের জন্য অপেক্ষারত স্বজনদের আহাজারিতে ঢামেকের মর্গের সামনের পরিবেশ ভারী হয়ে উঠেছে।

Factory on fire: Relatives mourn the deceased in Narayanganj, Dhaka Medical College morgue

52 people have been declared dead so far in the fire that started in Hashem Foods factory in Narayanganj. The victims were admitted to different hospitals including Dhaka Medical College Hospital and US Bangla Medical College Hospital. The waiting rooms are still somber with the mourning of the relatives.
