While working on a short film in El Salvador with Kassia Meador, Leah Dawson, and Lola Mignot about the exciting energy and potential of women's surfing, we had the absolute honor of meeting Sindy Portillo, possibly the only local female surfer at an amazing wave called Las Flores.
Sindy is an amazing surfer, and she told us about her dream of one day traveling the world to represent El Salvador as a surfer. We saw her talent and kind heart, and as part of our short film, we wanted to commit to making her dream come true.
