Eastern State Hospital (Washington State)

Описание: The Eastern State Hospital, built in 1891 as Washington State's second insane asylum/mental hospital, was located in the eastern Washington town of Medical Lake. Having had a peak population of 2,274 patients in 1954, today's Eastern State Hospital only contains around 300 beds. Originally constructed according to the Kirkbride Plan, the facility has since been remodeled extensively, torn down, and rebuilt along more modern standards over the years.
